Bénédicte has been working as a patent attorney at Becker & Associés since 2007. She became a partner to the firm in 2023.

Qualifications and professional activities

Bénédicte has a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Biotechnology from the University of Marseille, France. She also graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologie de Strasbourg (ESBS), equivalent to a M.Sc. in Biotechnology, and from the International Patent Law School (CEIPI) in Strasbourg. She is a registered French Patent Counsel and an authorized European Patent Attorney.

Bénédicte is also an authorized representative before the Unified Patent Court.

She is a member of CNCPI professional organization.

Fields of Expertise

Bénédicte advises and assists her clients, whether academics or innovative companies, in the protection and valorization of their innovations, in particular in building up patent portfolios and carrying out patentability and freedom-to-operate studies. She also assists her clients in pre-litigation or litigation proceedings relating to patents. Bénédicte particularly enjoys stimulating with her clients, inventors and project leaders.
